Candace Rotolo specializes in media relations for At The Table Public Relations. A former award-winning reporter/anchor who spent more than 15 years working in newsrooms all over the Southeast - both in front of the camera and behind the scenes – Candace puts those skills to work for clients, bringing a unique perspective on what the news media wants and needs.
Prior to joining ATTPR, Candace owned a media relations firm in Naples, Florida; worked as a freelance writer; launched a local women’s magazine as its founding editor; and served as the public relations director for a non-profit mental health agency. She continues to write regularly for a local food magazine and contributes to a national website for caregivers.
A graduate of Elon University in North Carolina, Candace earned her B.A. in Mass Communications. She believes in giving back to her community and has served on the boards of several Southwest Florida organizations.
Favorite Food Memory:
Watching my mother bake bread as a kid. Sure, it was the frozen, store-bought kind, but it smelled heavenly and tasted delicious smeared with butter and the rhubarb jelly my grandma made.
When I’m not working, I love to….
Sing. I’ve performed in several operas and choral groups, and I’ve never met a show tune I didn’t like. I’m also addicted to the Food Network and Cooking Channel. I’m constantly trying out new recipes.
If you wait until you’re really ready, you’ll never take off the training wheels.
Places I’d like to visit:
London, Australia, Morocco, Fiji.
