Mary Lou has lived in the Tampa Bay area for more than 30 years. She is an award-winning journalist who worked as a reporter for the Tampa Tribune and recently published a book, “Moving to Tampa - The Un-Tourist Guide.” She is also a savvy public relations professional who has represented global brands like Renaissance Hotels and Cirque du Soleil. Mary Lou continues to represent Pelagia Trattoria, a fine-dining Italian restaurant that she helped to first open in Tampa 10 years ago. She successfully launched Boizao Steakhouse in the Tampa market as well as two Tampa Carmel Cafe & Wine Bar restaurants. Her background in journalism and on-going success as a freelance writer enables her to work effectively with journalists from all disciplines to create compelling coverage and build broad-based awareness for her clients.
