Chad McLeod

Public Relations Consultant

Chad works with clients to effectively tell their stories, elevate their brands and achieve success. His expertise includes public relations planning, issues management, campaigns, crisis communications and media relations.
Chad has worked as a consultant to a variety of clients in multiple industries, including AAA – The Auto Club Group, Lockheed Martin, TECO Energy and more. Before becoming a consultant, he spent five years as an aide to U.S. Senator Mel Martinez, where he oversaw the senator’s legislative agenda and grassroots outreach strategy in Southwest Florida.

Fluent in Spanish, Chad works with organizations to develop bilingual campaigns and has served as a Spanish-language media spokesman for AAA. He is a past president of the Florida Public Relations Association, Tampa Bay Chapter and is the vice president of professional development for FPRA’s State Executive Committee, helping to oversee the organization’s statewide strategic planning efforts. Chad is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) and a Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC).
