At The Table Public Relations Witnesses Wish Come True

Parker, diagnosed in 2010 with systematic juvenile arthritis, did not spend more than a minute in his wheel chair after arriving with his family at Tropicana Field in a limousine.  Parker was greeted by local “paparazzi” - local television and newspaper reporters and photographers which At The Table Public Relations arranged to be on hand.   Nancy Kipnis, Sahlman Williams account manager, was interviewed by reporters as a representative for Make-A-Wish Foundation.

After enjoying a private tour of the club house, meeting all the Tampa Bay Rays players, eating lunch and playing catch with Ben Zobrist, Parker and his family watched the Rays take on the Baltimore Orioles.

“Most people wouldn’t understand how sick Parker really is by looking at him now,” said Rochelle Lentini, Parker’s mother. “This day will be one that our family will always cherish because it allowed Parker to be a kid.  Not a sick kid but just a normal kid.”

Make-A-Wish Foundation arranged for the Lentini family to spend the weekend at the Loews Don CeSar on St. Petersburg Beach.  Since Parker’s second love is cooking, Executive Chef Eric Neri gave the family a “behind the scenes” tour of the hotel’s Sea Porch Café.  The family also received a $100 gift certificate for the Columbia Restaurant which they thoroughly enjoyed.
